Hondata systems are available for OBDI Honda Acura ECUs only.
A Hondata system consists of additional components which are added to the standard ECU to allow the ECU to use a Hondata program. An interface box is then connected to the ECU which contains circuitry for datalogging, stores rev limits and interfaces to switches in the vehicle. Optionally a clutch switch, push button and datalogging cable may be installed. Collectively all this is known as a Hondata system.
There are 3 different type of system which are The S100 which is the basic setup, The S200 which is the middle grade unit, and the S300 being the top of the line unit. Due to size limitations in posts we cannot give the difference table between the 3 systems in this post showing the simularaties and differences, So we will post them in the topic titled Hondata system feature table. One a scale from 1-10 with 10 being the best, we rate this system at a 8 as unlike Crome and Ectune, Hondata does have constant customer support and tech lines when troubleshooting or receiving warrenty information.
Thank Hondata for the provided info
