| Well its been a awhile since I have had the pleasure of owning a fast honda, so I figured it was time to make one again. The goal is 750WHP but thats later down the line. for now im going to run the straight K24A1 motor (CR-V) and mabye put the squeeze on her a little . I already have 80% of the internals for the boosted setup such as
IB Spec Wiseco 9:0:1 comp pistons IB Spec Turbo Rods ERL Superdeck Sleeve kit K20A2 oil pump and misc parts such as ARP bolts.
Im missing alot of turbo parts such as Intercooler Turbo Manifold Wastegate BOV and piping
I already have the turbo for the setup which is a Garrett GT4094, but im putting the turbo build on hold for now as my old D16Z6 motor is showing signs of going out on me very very soon.
So right now im going to install what I have and play with it for a while until the finances are there for me to finish my setup the way I had planed.
BYW for those theives out there this car is garaged kept every night, has 3 different theft deturent switches, and carrys the FULL immobilizer system found on the new K-series setups! it also helps that I own a 95lb red nose pitt and a 12guage shot gun if you feel you still want to give it a shot.
The body work will be completed in the next few weeks as it needs a paint job BADLY. The last owner had a faint dream of making this car a RICER show stopper, it came fully equiped with ebay projection headlights, Alteza tail lights, discount Auto custom fog lights and a loud fart can on stock piping. Not to mention there was about 20-30different parts in and out of the car that needed to be replaced such as weather stripping, window tracking, the sun roof flew off on me!! clips, panels, and such. The last few weeks have been spent replacing all of the weather stripping and broken plastic parts, as well as replacing old faded interior parts with brand new OEM honda parts. the total just for the misc parts about have already gone well over $500.00 But I cant deal with having a nice looking motor and have the interior or exterior look crappy. By the time im finished I plan on having the interior and exterior look just as good as it did the 1st day it was made (or close to it )
The new exterior color is already on hand and is a metalic colbalt blue, looks somewhat like the 99-00 Civic Si blue but its a bit brighter and more blue then purple. We enough with the rants. here is the list of whats going into the car for now along with some pics. I will be taking more pics as parts arive and as we complete the swap. I cant wait!!
